Empowering Agrodealers for Better Farmer Support: Home Harvest Hands Over Motorcycle to Tooro Agro Inputs – Kyegegwa 🏍️🌱

In line with its mission to strengthen on-ground farmer support systems, Home Harvest Uganda has handed over a branded field follow-up motorcycle to Tooro Agro Inputs in Kyegegwa.

This handover marks a significant step in improving the efficiency and reach of extension services to farmers growing Home Harvest hybrid varieties — including Magoba Hybrid Maize, Tomato Polo F1, and Cabbage Delta F1.

Bringing Advisory Services Closer to the Farmer

One of the biggest challenges farmers face is limited access to timely and accurate agronomic guidance. Often, by the time an agrodealer or agronomist visits the field, much of the crop potential may already be lost to pests, poor management, or delayed fertilizer application.

Through this initiative, Home Harvest is ensuring that field follow-up is fast, consistent, and data-driven. The new motorcycle will enable Tooro Agro Inputs to:

✅ Conduct more frequent field inspections

✅ Provide immediate agronomic advice and feedback

✅ Strengthen relationships between farmers and input suppliers
