Home Harvest Uganda Announces Strategic Partnership with GIZ Uganda Under PRUDEV II

Home Harvest Uganda is proud to officially announce a strategic partnership with the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) Uganda under the Promoting Rural Development Programme (PRUDEV II), where we have been engaged as a Lead Firm in the agriculture sector for the Northern Region of Uganda.

This partnership marks a significant milestone in our mission to build resilient, inclusive, and market-driven agricultural systems that uplift farmers and strengthen rural economies.

Empowering Farmer Organizations for Sustainable Growth

Through the PRUDEV II program, Home Harvest Uganda will integrate GIZ-supported farmer organizations directly into our business model. These farmer groups will play a dual role as:

1. Aggregators of agricultural output, improving access to structured markets
2. Local distributors of high-quality production inputs, ensuring farmers access reliable and affordable agricultural solutions

This approach not only enhances productivity at the farm level but also creates sustainable value chains that benefit farmers, communities, and markets alike.

The Home Harvest–GIZ partnership is designed to deliver measurable impact by:

1. Strengthening market linkages between farmers and buyers
2. Boosting farmer productivity through quality inputs and better coordination
